Ms. Jennifer Hemme was a recipient of one of the 2019 Heart of Education Awards!
The event, sponsored by the Smith Center and the Rogers Foundation honored 750 finalists for the awards honoring teachers who make a difference at their schools. Twenty educators were awarded $5,000 each for their efforts in and out of the classroom. They also received a donation of $1000 to their school.
Congratulations to Ms. Hemme and the eight other Green Valley teachers nominated. In addition to Ms. Hemme our other nominees were: Bud Beam, Chi Chen, Mark Drakulich, Kristina Lewis, Scott Panik, Jennifer Tuttle, Kylene Vidal and Kelly Wagner.
